Belgian student headed for Harvard faces anxious wait as visa on hold

Belgian student Arthur Duchenne had thought the biggest obstacle to doing his masters at Harvard University would be getting the scholarship to fund his studies there. He got that scholarship on Wednesday (May 28) but faced an unexpected complication, after U.S. President Donald Trump's administration ordered its missions abroad to stop scheduling new appointments for student and exchange visitor visa applicants.
