Scott Stanley, founder of DTG (Deep Things of God) Ministries, introduces his new teaching series branded as the “STAR Project”—an acronym for Speaking Truth and Righteousness—that aims to deliver concise, connected studies teaching the gospel. Instead of calling it a podcast, he embraces the concept of being a messenger or “angel” to the earth, inspired by biblical references in Revelation. He uses Scripture, primarily from Exodus, Psalms, 1 John, and the New Testament letters, to expound on how God forgives and cleanses iniquity—lifting it from the mind—and how Jesus Christ’s redemptive work is meant to free believers from iniquity, not merely forgive sins after the fact. Stanley emphasizes the importance of departing from iniquity as an essential part of faithful Christian living, warning that mere works without repentance and transformation will not suffice for entering the kingdom of God. He also highlights the crucial role of understanding biblical words through tools like Strong’s Concordance.
