DCMS: SKYEWOOD - Magical DOOM Adventure to Slay a DRAGON! (Steve Rescoe's Classic WAD)

Welcome back to the Doom Community Mapper Showcase (DCMS)! This week, we're embarking on a truly unique and enchanting journey through Skyewood, a classic Doom 2 WAD released on August 29th, 1996, by the imaginative Steve Rescoe!

Prepare for a magical Doom adventure like no other, filled with talking trees, exploding toads, mysterious mushrooms, and even a fire-breathing dragon deep in the forest! Skyewood's three untitled maps are intentionally designed to immerse you fully in the unfolding narrative, breaking your journey into distinct sections.

I'll be guiding you through all three maps on Ultra-Violence difficulty, aiming for 100% Kills, Items, and Secrets across the entire WAD, from our cozy cottage in the woods all the way to slaying the fearsome dragon!

The entire Skyewood experience is set to the iconic and atmospheric music of Mark Klem from the Momento Mori series:
