What a Wonderful World

The well-known balled "What a Wonderful World" was written by Bob Thiele and George David Weiss. It was originally offered to Tony Bennett, but he declined, so it was given to Louis Armstrong. Despite it not having immediate success anywhere but the UK, in the late 1970's, nearly 10 years after its release in 1967, it became wildly popular in the US. It was featured in countless movies, TV shows, and the like, and it now stands as a timeless classic. Enjoy!
