This is Gaza

An emotional journey of a Palestinian filmmaker Yousef Hammash. As Israel carried out an unprecedented assault on the territory, after October 7 2023, Yousef Hammash reported from the war-zone amidst the military and humanitarian crisis.

The film offers a devastating portrait of life and survival – told through the eyes of Yousef Hammash.

Watching back his footage, he charts his family’s displacement and the heartbreaking decision to leave his home as he travels south to Rafah and eventually to London, where he continues to report on the situation in Gaza.
