In Dwarven Aid, a monstrous horde assembles beside the Larian colony. Their constant shuffle shakes the ground and devours the setting sun. As this danger looms over the colonists, Tarian dispatches two colonists in a last-ditch effort to secure allies in their struggle. Behind the Scenes:
With my original plan, already skewed, I needed a way to integrate the new races into the colony’s life. However, each race needed their own time to develop. Ideally, it would have been more than a single tale, but I didn’t want to drag it out either. That said, when I picked up the original draft, I realized the story held a fair number of rough edges that needed to be smoothed out.
