Action Radio 5/30/25, Restoring the US Code to pre- The Patriot Act.

This is one of my most ambitious bills. The Patriot Act, which I'm sure was in the works for years, was submitted to Congress in it's entirety, huge as it was, on October 23rd, only a few weeks after 9/11, and passed in just three days. That's unheard of in Congress and normally impossible. So the fix was definitely in to use the excuse of 9/11 to take all our rights and due process away. It's almost like they were ready for 9/11, what a coincidence.

Fortunately through the wonders of AI, I was able to extract from the entire US Code all the places that the Patriot Act was inserted into, and, to also have the original language before the Patriot Act with all the safeguards, constitutional procedures, privacy, rights of the accused and basic search and seizure protections that apply to everyone.

What the Patriot Act said that this act, 9/11, was so bad, and terrorism is so bad, that we have to give up all our rights and protections from government whenever they claim, real or imagined, that possible terrorism is the reason for the investigation. Terrorism is a crime, just like other crimes. If you are murdered, does it matter whether family member, friend, stranger, or terrorist? It's still murder.

That's from my online dictionary. Political aims huh, like what, Waco? Was that not an act of government terrorism, especially for a multitude of political aims? How to we protect ourselves from government terrorism?
