B593 – May 18, 2025 Watching For Danger

In the Bible there is a concept of a “Watchmen on the Wall”, who is assigned the task of warning the citizens of incoming trouble. In this Berean study we look at the type of spiritual Watching that New Testament believers are called to perform among the fellowship.

The Holy Spirit of Yehovah living within the life of a Believer, will provide discernment for that person, as well as helping to watch for trouble in the lives of the other members of the Body of Yeshua. The Holy Spirit watches over believers as they act as watchmen for others.

Watchmen need to know the Bible and have Biblical discernment. Watchmen need to be watching at all times and in all circumstances for small things that could lead to bigger problems down the road.
Watchmen can not be fearful and refuse to speak out, when danger is spotted. Being a faithful watcher does have blessings assigned to the job, but unfaithful watchers are warned that their bad performance will lead to punishment.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
