B594 – May 25, 2025 Avoiding Pride

In this Bible study we review some of the situations that God’s Word tells us are rooted in Pride and selfish behavior. Pride does not display the same way in everyone that lets it live in their life. Being able to recognize the various signs of Pride in the life of a person, will benefit those who do not accept Pride as part of their attitude and are praying for God to remove it.

Pride creates a Fearful heart and uncertainty when making life decisions. Pride leads to a self-centered, covetous attitude for those who are trusting in their own strength. Pride seeks worldy approval and worldly riches, as a reward for living under their own abilities. Pride is hated by Yehovah and is never acceptable in the life of New Testament Believer. Pride always leads to destruction, maybe not today, and maybe not this week, but it will always destroy those who think they are smart enough to live without God.

Trust in Yehovah with all of your heart and do not trust in your own abilities. Cry out to Yeshua and accept His free gift of redemption for your life and be filled with the Holy Spirit of Yehovah. Trust in the Plan that will never fail!
