Black Panther Game CANCELLED! Is This PEAK Superhero Fatigue?

EA just closed down Cliffhanger Games and with it the Black Panther game they were working on. It's another in a long line of EA related layoffs and studio closures this year alone and another big budget Superhero game canned before it sees the light of day. This one is special as Cliffhanger employed several Sweet Baby Inc. collaborators with virulent anti-white posts and racist policies. Good riddance.

The bodies are stacking up and it begs the question posited by the return at the box office: is the Superhero genre over?
