Chelsea Bridge

Made popular by Duke Ellington's renowned orchestra in 1941, Billy Strayhorn's impressionistic jazz standard "Chelsea Bridge" has become a classic; composers often emulate it with similar whole tone chords and dual chromatic harmonies. It lends itself to Debussy, but retains Strayhorn's unique signature style. This is a simplified version written for piano, but I think it still contains the emotion of the original. Enjoy!
