What are Trump’s real Gaza ceasefire terms? with Jeremy Scahill

On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump and his Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff expressed renewed optimism for an agreement to bring about a ceasefire in Gaza and end the genocide.

There are plenty of reasons for skepticism amid repeatedly dashed hopes, betrayals and Israel’s relentless massacres.

And all of Israel’s crimes are only possible due to the constant flow of weapons, financing and political support from Washington.

But what are the prospects that this time will be different and the people of Gaza will see the relief they desperately need?

We are joined by veteran investigative journalist Jeremy Scahill of Drop Site News who is closely monitoring the ceasefire talks and is in contact with Hamas officials.
