On May 22, 2025, the U.S. Coast Guard released chilling new video during the OceanGate Titan Submersible implosion, as heard by employees of OceanGate aboard the surface vessel. The USCG video shows Wendy Rush, the wife of Oceangate CEO Stockton Rush, hearing the sound of the Tian implosion while watching from the sub's support ship, Polar Prince, and asking: "What was that bang?"

Her husband, Oceangate CEO Stockton Rush was on board the Titan sub, along with British explorer Hamish Harding, veteran French diver Paul Henri Nargeolet, the British-Pakistani businessman Shahzada Dawood and his 19-year-old son Suleman.
