And that the narcissist gets complete joy and satisfaction out of hurting you. While the narcissist will choose any type of supply that they can get. There are the narcissists that love to pick a strong willed person, just to have the challenge of knocking them down. There are the narcissists who choose weak people because they are easier to manipulate and have such low self esteem, they will put up with anything. And I was one of those weak people! The narcissist knows with the strong person, they have to pick up their game. Change their behavior, put forth an effort. That's too much work. So they pick the person they don't even want. But who will put up with their ways. And since it's not who they really want, they do not care about hurting them. Why change your behavior when you can just change partners.
