I highly recommend you get e-sword and start using it to study the Bible. Makes the process much easier and quicker, so don't let that distract you from taking your time to study carefully. This book, The Pursuit of God, has a Preface note with a date of June 16, 1948 so I assume that was about when he finished writing or when it was published.
