Tragic Waves: Venezuelan Migrant's Illegal Border Crossing Ends in Deadly Drunk Jetski Crash

An 18-year-old Air Force Academy cadet candidate was killed in a jet ski hit-and-run while kayaking in Texas over the holiday weekend.The incident occurred on Grapevine Lake on Sunday evening when a jet ski, carrying two female occupants, struck and killed Ava Moore, according to the Grapevine Police Department.

Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez was arrested in connection with her death, according to Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

Joshua Johnson, acting field director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and Emergency Removal Operations in Dallas, confirmed that 21-year-old Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez and 21-year-old Maikel Coello Perozo are both illegal immigrants from Venezuela.
