State Rep. Kelly Cassidy's Irrational Accusation

On the morning of the final day of the regular session (May 31, 2025), State Representative Kelly Cassidy (D-Chicago) used a point of personal privilege to once again dogmatically express her sexually corrupt views.

Advocating for the deception of gender-confused children, she publicly dismissed the legitimate concerns raised by conservative lawmakers and activists regarding medical interventions. She went so far as to accuse gender realists of having blood on their hands, citing suicide statistics among confused minors.

In response, State Representative Bill Hauter (R-Morton) objected to Cassidy’s characterization and called for a more civil and respectful tone in the debate.
