MY VERY THOUGHTFUL AND LOVING GOD
1 John 4:10 New King James Version
10 In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!
You know guys, I find something interesting in this moment with Hezekiah, because as I was reading in a lot of the commentaries, his response to this punishment, seems one of selfish relief. However, when you read II Chronicles 32:26, you see something different. You see a king that humbles himself before God on this matter, along with the entire nation of Judah. I think that what was really going on here, wasn't that Hezekiah was focused more on himself than what others in the future would face, but I think that he was grateful that God wasn't punishing him right then, there, and now with Babylon in his lifetime.
There's something about these questions from this morning's devotional, in particular this first one, really got me to thinking about this particular issue, especially in regards to God's thoughtfulness toward me, and I had to share these questions with you tonight. Please read this question carefully, and I pray that you ask God to speak to you through it.
What does God's thoughtfulness mean to you?
Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God showed me from this morning scripture, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you helps you to see how thoughtful God is to you. And join me in this vlog tonight my friends, and learn about the compassionate, loving, forgiving, and thoughtful God that wants to show all of these things to you! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with this final question from this morning's devotional, and I pray that it not only challenges you, but also motivates you to want to express the thoughtfulness that God has shown to you to others.
How might you think of others today?
I want to challenge you today, to go before the Lord, and ask Him to show you how you can not only think of others but put those thoughts into action. Start with lifting people up that God puts on your heart in prayer and ask God to show you how you can help them. Most of all, ask God to let His love for you, flow through you to others, through actively looking into and after the needs of those who are in genuine need, and watch how God will work through it. Remember guys, God showed His ultimate thoughtfulness and love toward us through sending His son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, so I think it's only fair that we share that same good news message with others.
