Aurora - Peaked at G4 - June 1, 2025

I set out the tripod at 11pm MDT Saturday night, since the GOES magnetometer showed things starting to drop into the negative range and the solar winds were high.
Imagine my surprise when I checked the websites this morning to see that NOAA showed the expected large CME struck ahead of the prediction, at 0054MDT, with G4 geostorm conditions beginning at 0230MDT. The storm was caught in timelapse video from when it kicked off until morning's light overwhelmed the colors.
