A bass bit me! (a fictional fishing story)

I reeled in this large mouth bass and next thing you know he attacked me and bit me! So I told my wife and she was very concerned. : ( She said I need to wash it clean real good and apply disinfectant. : ) Yes Ma'am!

She continued, ‘After you wash it thoroughly with soap and water you need to apply Neosporin. Why didn't you clean it when you were at the lake? You could have flesh-eating bacteria! We need to get you started on Antibiotics!’

Then I told her.... bass don't bite people. I was pulling some tree weeds in the roses. She looked at me very concerned and thought about it. I told her again, bass don't bite people and I chuckled a little and then started to laugh. She started to smile and laugh too. I told her I appreciate the she wanted to look out for me.
