Gateway Classic Cars "Caffeine & Chrome" - Olathe, Kansas - May 31st, 2025

It was a beautiful morning, which led to a huge turnout at the Gateway Classic Cars Caffeine & Chrome car meet event, which took place on Saturday, May 31st, 2025, starting at 9:00 AM through 12:00 PM. Of course, many cars show up way before 9:00 AM. By the time I arrived, the main parking lots on the front and the side were completely full. I park down near the south end, and many other cars were having to do the same. At one point, there was a line of cars bumper to bumper along the entire lane of the car show parking lot. A Thunderbird group presented their lineup of old classics and newer models on the side parking lot, which was the highlight of the show. Event photos: 14:06.

It was already about 74° out once the front doors opened and early bird gobbled up the doughnuts in no time. There were probably polished off by 9:20 AM. If you want a doughnut, you better get there early. After I got way too much video footage and photos, it was time to head back home at about 11:20 AM. A few other car owners were leaving g as well, as the temperatures rose into the 80's. Once again, another great Caffeine & Chrome!
