In this video, I’m pushing lasagna to the limit. I caramelize the mince, layer in dark soy sauce, passata, parmesan, and build something that tastes like it cooked all day—but didn’t.

INGREDIENTS
• 1kg beef mince
• 1 onion, finely chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp garlic paste
• 1 tbsp garlic powder
• 1 tsp onion powder
• 1.5 tbsp dark soy sauce
• 200ml red wine
• 1 Tbsp Smoked paprika
• 300ml tomato passata
• 50g flour
• 1 Tbsp Tomato paste
• 1 tbsp beef bouillon
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Lasagna sheets (fresh or dry)
• 500g mozzarella and cheddar shredded
• 50g parmesan, grated
• Lemon Juice
• 1 Tsp sugar
