How do you know what's the truth amid the deception and shadows of Dark City? You rulers use misdirection, deception and distraction through the broadcasting of programs (spells) that entrain the masses, imprisons their consciousness and fills their subconscious mind with subliminal hypnotic suggestions that control every aspect of their beliefs, attitudes and behaviors.
