Episode 831: Jesus explains how and why some believe while other do not believe the gospel Part 1

Hello everyone. In today's Bible study we continue our journey through the first chapter of Revelation which has some very deep truths buried in it that prepares the reader for the remainder of the book.

If the truths given to us in chapter 1 is not true then everything that follows cannot come to pass.

What truths am I referring to? I will list a few for you.
1. God gave all revelations concerning all things directly to His Son.
2. Christ who is the manifestation of the One True God not only was the LORD God's agent for creation, dissemination of the truth, but also the Body in which the LORD God resides.
3. God determined in eternity past to set His love upon a certain group of people.
4. Those whom God set His love upon, Christ not only died to pay the penalty for their sins but also gave them the same glory which the LORD God bestowed upon Him.
5. Christ as the Almighty GodMan reigns as the only Sovereign God.
6. The entire Old Testament is reveals symbolism regarding Christ.
7. No one can enter Christ's presence without dying from the radiant express brightness of His glory.

Today we will learn that the people currently in Hades can have conversations with each other.

We also learn what happened to the Garden of Eden and why no one has ever found it.

Then we take a look at the reason God gave concerning how and why some believe while others do not believe the gospel. Interesting!

There, that is just a few things mentioned in chapter 1. There are many more references to the Old and New Testaments in this particular chapter.

We should take heed not to skip over the importance and deep truths in this chapter just to read about the "exciting" apocalyptic events that happens in the remainder of the book.
