Suspect in Boulder terror attack determined to be Egyptian man in US illegally: FBI

An Egyptian national, Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, who overstayed his visa, has been charged with a terror attack in Boulder, Colorado, that injured six people.

Soliman allegedly set victims on fire while shouting anti-Israel slogans during a peaceful rally for Israeli hostages.

Authorities, including the FBI, are investigating the attack as a hate crime and ideologically motivated violence.

Soliman entered the U.S. on a B1/B2 visa in August 2022, overstayed his authorized stay, and received work authorization in March 2023, Fox News has reported.

The attack has drawn strong condemnations from local and national leaders, highlighting rising concerns about antisemitic violence.
