Make Pinecone Swans with Feathers | Easy Christmas Countdown Craft | DIY Tree Clip Ornaments

In today’s video, I’m showing you how to make these colorful pinecone swans—a charming and beginner-friendly ornament you can clip right onto your Christmas tree. This is part of my Christmas Countdown of Crafts series, where I’m creating simple, affordable holiday projects using natural materials.

These feathered swans are fun to make solo or with a group, and they’re a beautiful addition to any holiday decor—perfect for your tree, table displays, or even weddings with a woodland theme!

🎄 Supplies You’ll Need:
• Short, squatty pinecones
• Pipe cleaners (regular or glitter)
• Assorted feathers (proportionate to the pinecones)
• Beads, rhinestones, or optional materials for eyes
• Hot glue gun & plenty of glue
• Clips (fishing clip, clothespin, or similar)
• Small dowel rod (for the beak)
• Spray paint, markers (colors of your choice + optional glitter)
• Needle nose pliers (helpful for shaping & placement)

✨ I walk you through every step—from prepping and painting your pinecones to forming the swan’s neck, adding feathers, attaching the clip, and finishing with eyes and a beak. These little birds came out beautifully, and I even show how they look perched on a tabletop tree.

💡 Want to customize them? Try pastel colors, flowers, or extra sparkle for weddings or special occasions.
