Guy Nakoa is a native from the island of Maui. Paradise, right? So how does one deal with cancer in such a place? Guy was in denial that something was even wrong with him for a long, long time! When he finally found out that he had cancer....it turns out that he had a rare diagnosis of male breast cancer!

Even after being diagnosed, he was still in another form of denial...he thought he was going to die....and then he didn't!
