🚨 Florida’s family systems are FAILING — and it's costing parents, kids, and communities. Chris breaks it down into 5 critical "swim lanes" of jurisdiction — and why each one is passing the buck while families suffer.

🔹 1. Family Courts
Courts aren’t following the Florida Supreme Court’s SC00-1410 directive on Family Law Advisory Groups (FLAGs).
➡️ Most circuits are out of compliance.
➡️ ADA violations go unchecked, especially with invisible disabilities like PTSD and anxiety.
⛔ This leads to trauma, unequal treatment, and broken outcomes.

🔹 2. Law Enforcement
Police often refuse to enforce critical family protection laws:
❗ Domestic violence (s. 741.2901)
❗ Custodial interference & child abduction (s. 787.01 & 787.03)
❗ Officers who “deny jurisdiction” may be breaking s. 839.24
💔 Support is growing for Family Abduction Awareness Day — but enforcement is lagging behind.

🔹 3. Child Protection Services (CPS)
CPS fails to:
⚠️ Verify legal custody
⚠️ Act on custody violations
⚠️ Recognize missing kids being unlawfully withheld
🚨 Children remain "hidden in plain sight." CPS must update definitions of harm and treat emotional abuse seriously.

🔹 4. Public Schools
Schools are legally obligated to follow court orders — but many:
📌 Don’t verify pickups
📌 Don’t train staff on DV or custody orders
📌 Don’t coordinate with police
❗This leaves children vulnerable and violates the law.

🔹 5. Child Support Enforcement
Federal and state laws require accountability. But without follow-through, many parents are financially and emotionally drained.
