In the Nile Valley, in the Mali Empire, in Kush, Axum, Great Zimbabwe, and the ancient cities buried beneath African sands, humanity began. These were not mere “tribes” as European textbooks would later degrade them to—but societies of deep knowledge in astronomy, architecture, governance, medicine, and spirituality.
