Ricki Laahs-
A proud Marine Corps veteran, I served honorably for four years, standing shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the most disciplined and resilient individuals in the world. After completing my active duty, I continued to serve the mission as a Department of Defense contractor, providing critical support for another four years. These roles not only sharpened my sense of duty, precision, and perseverance—but also deepened my commitment to protecting what matters most.

My "why" has always been clear: my family. My mother’s strength, my niece and nephew’s futures, and the countless lives impacted by injustice—especially those who have been politically prosecuted—fuel my purpose every day. I carry their stories with me as I move forward, determined to be a voice and a force for those who can’t speak or fight for themselves. Service didn’t end with the uniform—it evolved into a mission that’s deeply personal.
