Praying for Bill Quinn's speedy recovery, recently suffered a stroke.
At the GA GOP State Convention Saturday someone will win and someone will lose. This is the most divisive hard fought campaign because trying to right the ship. The only goal of the campaign is to unleash the grassroots and empower counties and districts to win local elections. We are not headed in the right direction. There are a number of state house seats and senate seats are just votes away from flipping. The districts are redrawn to dilute the conservative districts. When did lying, cheating and corruption become acceptable to the point of it being for the good of the party.
Jeff Dellamaggiora, running for treasurer, wants you to believe that he did everything for his company. The rules of the republican party is that for treasurer you are to be a bookkeeper. And Josh wants to lead you to believe that the financial audit is not necessary for the GA GOP because nothing will come of it. What they want you to believe that everything is on the up and up in the GA GOP, cash in cash out. In 15 years, no audit has been done and the information that has been uncovered in the last year is giving people a position to pause. How could you continue to walk around with an “it couldn’t happen here” attitude or that Josh would never do such a thing.
Salleigh Grubbs tried to work with others to remove David Cross, the second vice chair. If she tried to remove David Cross once as second vice chair could she do it again? Josh did a powerpoint presentation on David Cross to dress him down in a State committee meeting to shut him down and ice him from the party.
When Josh makes the decision to shut you down, you are out. Josh has decided to get rid of Laurie McClain. Jeff Dellamaggiora has history, he may have been in Fulton County when they stole an election there with Trey Kelley, the Trust Fund and Betsy Kramer. It is possible that Jeff would be the ideal guy for Josh McKoon.
Laurie McClain did everything possible to get information and get it to the counties. She was boxed out of the role. Now Josh has told you that he reviews and Laurie reviews the information. Josh wants to leave you to believe that in 99 pages everything was perfect. Is there a document where something was questioned before filing? Laurie reaches out to Josh with questions and access.
Karen Hentschel is filing FEC reports without Laurie seeing them with Laurie’s name on them. Laurie’s letter addresses exactly what needs to be corrected to gain the confidence in our finances to become a viable party. There are several FEC reports that have to be corrected and refiled.
Regardless of what you think about the Cobb county chair position. Sallight grubb’s BFF Matt stout dishes on getting Mary Clarice Hathaway to run for Cobb County GOP chair at Salleigh’s direction. Salleigh has campaigned around the state to remove BKP as first vice chair for Josh McKoon. She attempted to remove David Cross by working with others.
Once David Cross is elected as chairman of the GA GOP there will be the largest explosion of grassroots in the state. Now back to the question, rally behind the winner for the good of the party? Will Salleigh rally behind David Cross for the good of the party? Will she work with David or start initiating the removal of David Cross as chair.
