Lexx Episode 4: Giga Shadow

In Lexx season 1 episode 4, titled "Giga Shadow," Kai is running out of protoblood, and Zev forces Stan to set course back to the Cluster through the fractal core.
Upon arrival, they find the entire planet barren, with everyone killed in "the cleansing," which was done in preparation for the birth of the Gigashadow.
This episode marks a significant point in the series where the crew discovers the dire consequences of the cleansing of the Cluster and the progression towards the birth of the Giga Shadow.
