Hon. Kurt Wuelper, a U.S. Army veteran, served as State Representative for New Durham and Strafford from 2014 to 2022. With nearly four years of active duty, including 15 months in Vietnam, Kurt earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from UNH in 1974 and worked 34 years at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. A Strafford resident for over 30 years with his wife, Bethene, he has a son and two granddaughters. Kurt has served as Strafford moderator, currently as school district moderator, and led local Boy Scout programs.

A staunch pro-life advocate, Kurt Wuelper prioritizes low taxes through reduced government spending, making New Hampshire ideal for families. He is committed to protecting all constitutional rights, including the Second Amendment, and reducing business regulations to drive economic growth and retain talent. His pro-life convictions anchor his vision for a thriving, free, and family-oriented New Hampshire.
