493 Romans Chapter 14

Paul continues to give practical examples of how we should live, in response to the gift of salvation God has given us. This chapter focuses on liberty and tolerance. Those us who live in our liberty and eat pork, shellfish and other items forbidden under the Law shouldn't judge those who feel that they should eat Kosher or be vegetarians and vice-versa. Paul is stressing a unity of the faith because there have been historic tensions between Jewish and Gentile believers in this an other churches. He has destroyed the argument that we MUST keep the Law but now he is stressing tolerance and grace towards those brothers who aren't comfortable with the amount of liberty being freed from the Law brings.
