On episode 66, my special guest is Natalie Brooke, Nester, Luke Walker, and Nathan Shulkin. They made their debut at Live at "The Shop" on 5/2/25 in Dunbar, WV.

Natalie Brooke is a dynamic funk and rock musician based in the Baltimore–Washington, D.C. area. Known for her high-energy performances and virtuosic keyboard skills, she leads a powerhouse four-piece band where she fronts on keys, keytar, and vocals. Her music blends funk, rock, and jam influences, often described as a mashup of Rick James and Rush, featuring fast tempos, danceable grooves, and jazzy improvisation. Brooke studied classical and jazz piano at Shenandoah Conservatory, which laid the foundation for her genre-bending style. Her keyboard playing is both percussive and melodic, lighting up shows with electrifying notes.
In 2024, she released her debut LP, Wicked and Wonderful, and is currently recording her second studio album, expected to release in the latter half of 2025. Brooke has shared the stage with notable acts such as Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Andy Frasco & the UN, and Big Something.
