GIVE ME THE COURAGE TO LOVE, LORD!!!
1 Thessalonians 4:13 New King James Version
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen [a]asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope.
EVEN IN THE MIDST OF LOSS. GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA MY DEAR FRIENDS!!!
Something not just in this morning scripture, but especially these questions from this morning's devotional, really spoke to my heart today, and I had to share them with you. Please don't be afraid to answer these questions honestly, and know that there's no specific answer you're to give, but feel free to answer from the heart.
What has affected your ability to love?
Who is the last person you wept over and why?
Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things that God has been showing me from his word throughout the years about having the courage to love and continue on despite grief, through this blog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you shows that if you come as a believer, have someone who is also a believer pass away, that neither of you are without hope. That for those of us whose life and faith is “hidden with Christ in God” according to Colossians 3:3 have a holy and precious hope that no one can take from us. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn how you can have the courage to love again, despite whatever loss or trauma you've been through! 😊
So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I don't know what loss, trauma, or tragedy that you are going through right now, but I want you to know that you're not walking alone in it, and that you are not without hope. I want to share again with all of you something that John Blasé this morning's devotional writer stated, and I pray that it encourages you Through whatever you were experiencing right now. “We love and lose everything from spouses to children to parents to friends to pets, and weeping with “painful joy” is oh so human. Yet for the believer in Jesus, our weeping only lasts for the proverbial night. As David wrote, “Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning” (Psalm 30:5). Our Father hasn't left us bereft of hope.” And never will!
