The story of Abraham and Isaac is one of the best known stories in scripture but it's also one of the hardest to endure. Many ask themselves why would God ask Abraham to go through with such a scenario but it was not for God but Abraham's benefit. Because of Abraham's faith and obedience, Isaac was delivered but it was a great test of Abraham's faith.
