You can pass a budget without out the funds to fill the budget. The government can write a budget that is over the income, there is a purchase order to the Federal Reserve to start printing money. Someone then has to purchase the debt to print. There are bond auctions, and if you sell too much debt at one time you can alter the world currency. No country is not too big to fail. Elon has said several times that we do not have a choice, and has said that we are going to go bankrupt. There were people that wanted to run Elon out of DC, but somehow he became the richest man in the world and hold us that we are about to go broke. But we put together One Big Beautiful Bill, over 1100 pages. Elon is upset.

No more omnibus bills, that is what she told us. She is fully transparent that she didn’t read the bill before voting on it. And because Donald Trump told her that it was a Big Beautiful Bill, because Mike Johnson told her that it had to be passed, but she didn’t read it. MTG is the chair of the DOGE House subcommittee but she voted yes on a section that would unregulate AI for 10 years.
The Big Bill is over in the Senate. Mike Johnson is asking for not many changes, because it will be difficult to get it back through the house. Any changes will send it back to the house, where Mike Johnson only had a 1 vote buffer.
Why is Musk so upset? Musk slams Big Budget Bill. It will massively increase the already gigantic budget deficit to $2.5Tand burden American citizens with crushingly unsustainable debt. This massive outrageous pork-filled Congressional spending bill is a disgusting abomination.
The bill should have been posted for 6 days prior to any vote, there was no way to approve a 1100 page bill within 24 hours. Part of their governing is that they didn’t reach their fundraising goal for the month. MTG, could you not read to page 279 before voting? Did they provide you the bill and just provide you the cliff notes?

Interest payments already consume 25% of all government revenue. If the massive deficit spending continues there will only be money for the interest payments nothing else. No social security, no medical, no defense, nothing.
What our government has done in the past years is they have altered the numbers, all the data is not trustworthy. There is a gap between the spending and GDP, spending more than we take in.
Elon is saying you can pass the bill but when your interest payment exceeds your tax anticipation you are finished. You will not have anything. You will not be going on TV that the next bill will do anything.
Rand Paul has been pretty consistent opposing deficit spending no matter which party is in charge. If we don’t get serious about reigning in debt, the next generation will pay the price. In America the country can not get a second and third job. You will get the job because you are the collateral. Elon says that this immense level of overspending will drive America into debt slavery.

Elon says in November next year, we will fire all politicians who betrayed the American people. If democrats we know that there is no fiscal responsibility, with republicans in power we have a promise of fiscal responsibility. Congress is making America bankrupt. The massive waste in government spending and we know another $5T in debt is a huge mistake.
Trump gave Elon the pick for NASA administrator. It was pulled after Senate confirmation, this was a done deal two days ago. But is that the reason Elon is upset over the bill? All Americans should be upset over the spending bill.
The US government buys its own debt. This occurs through a mechanism called intragovernmental debt where different parts of the federal government like trust funds invest in Treasury securities. Essentially one part of the government is lending money to another part. If you print money you have to sell the bonds. When a bond sale doesn’t work you buy your own debt then hyperinflation sets in and the road to bankruptcy is around the corner.
