This is a good desire, which The LORD alone can fulfill. But most people seek this fulfillment in other people and earthly pleasures or achievements. Thus they create idols, before which they bow down. GOD will have no other gods before HIM! Make GOD the deepest desire of your heart. Let The LORD fulfill your yearning for perfection."

Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your heart. PSALM 37 : 4

Prayer: Jesus Christ, remind me that this world is broken and only You are perfect. Help me stop chasing satisfaction in people or things, and instead, turn my heart fully toward You. Be my greatest desire, and fill the deep places in me with Your perfect love and joy. Amen!
