Hey lovers I often say as a pretty small YouTube channel I do very well for myself. I have less than 3 videos that have hit the million mark yet I'm considered a very successful YouTuber. Here's my step by step guide to doing the same thing with your own career:

1. Choose a niche that you are super passionate and knowledgeable on
Being a jack of all trades is great but difficult if you want to build a sustainable brand

2. Make the kind of videos YOU love with as many people you love as possible

3. GET ORGANIZED! Create a schedule and a work flow that is as easy as possible for you. Don't make yourself jump through hoops you will get tired. I suggest a system like a Chromebook that allows you to keep your various projects organized and easy to access. New Chromebooks have batteries that last at least 10 hours, so you can leave your charger at home.

4. Select brand partnerships that make sense for your voice and audience only

5. Find ways to connect with your audience and earn an income at the same time: merchandise, coaching, live videos, live shows, etc...

6. Keep creating content. When you're busy, when you're free, when you're doing well, when you're not. Keep creating content

7. Get an agent/ manager/ mcn who understands your area of expertise and how to market you to opportunities both on and offline

8. Expand your voice beyond YouTube. Use your videos as a marketing pitch to get magazines to cover you and TV shows to feature you

9. Sell your voice! Appear on other outlets, projects, platforms as an expert/ host/ consultant

10. Pay it forward! Help others, share knowledge and remain a student of EVERYONE
