When I came into the media business, I made a promise to myself and those that follow me that I would always do my utmost to follow the facts and truth and let them know when something I say is my opinion. That is not the easy thing, especially when I must have tough conversations about people I consider allies. That’s the case for this story but I’ve followed the questions surrounding Congressman Mills for several months as its developed without saying anything as the facts developed. Congressman Mills is a man who routinely displays the courage to help anyone in need, and we’ve seen him do that from his military service, to helping people get out of Afghanistan, helping Americans get out of Haiti in turmoil, and providing assistance to all those in need in Western North Carolina when the Federal Government abandoned them. But the time to have a conversation is now, because something strange is going on, and it involves the FBI, so we are doing that today. And as usual, the Capital Police corruption has caught our attention again with the recent naming of a new acting Chief that our colleagues have investigated before due to his corruption, and now Acting Chief Sean Gallagher is being called out again as so corrupt, even the Union is submitting letters opposing his being named Chief. The investigative journalist involved in investigating both these stories I know best is Steve Baker. You’ve seen him on the show before, a musician turned independent investigative journalist, accused J-6 terrorist pardoned by President Trump and now an official Blaze journalist with Glenn Beck’s outfit!
