July 14, 1965 - The English rock group Manfred Mann are musical guests on tonight’s edition of NBC-TV’s “Shindig!” There, they perform their hit, “Doo Wah Diddy Diddy.” The song, written by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich, was originally recorded in 1963 as “Do-Wah-Diddy” by the Exciters.
