Putin promises revenge for drone attack as NATO defence ministers discuss Ukraine without US

Days after a massive Ukrainian drone attack on Russian bombers, President Vladimir Putin has promised revenge, while on a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The call happened during a NATO defence ministers' meeting, which included Canada's Defence Minister David McGuinty but not U.S. Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth.
