What does it mean to live "Beyond the Veil"? At the moment on the cross when Jesus breathed his last, the veil of the temple was torn in two. The veil or thick heavy curtain separated off the Holy of Holies housing the presence of God. To live beyond the veil is to humbly seek God and surrender to His will in order to live in His presence. When Yvonne was 14 she moved with her family from Mumbai, India to Canada where she met her husband Paul, originally from the United Kingdom. Seeking the truth and sorting through cultural differences, the Allen’s faced financial difficulty, career driven identity, and serious health complications, but found freedom in complete surrender to Christ. Now they prayerfully walk through this new season of life with their children and grandchildren!

Fired? That can’t be! Yvonne was a highly successful, sought after top businesswoman in lucrative employment. Her goal was to be wealthy enough not have to look at a price tag. What does she do now? Also, the Allen family children as young adults talk about courtship, dating and marriage.

“Put on the regenerate new self, created in God’s image.” Ephesians 4:24

What is honor? Convicted and repentant, Yvonne works to learn more about what God says about honor of God and others and servanthood. The Allen family discusses how children are a gift from God made for a purpose with a destiny. Yvonne and Paul plan a rite of passage ceremony for their children around age 13 to celebrate their children and their walk into adulthood. Paul authors a book, “The Theft of Worship: How to Ratify Your Position in Christ and Frame Your Reality in Truth by the Language and Lyrics of Your Worship” about how to worship in spirit and in truth. Yvonne writes her memoir, “Beyond the Veil: Answering the Invitation of the Bridegroom King” about pivotal moments in her life where God taught her, she is His daughter, how to be a friend, and the calling to deeper intimacy with Christ.
