Episode 842: Are people going to hell because of their behavior? Part 2

Hello everyone. In tonight's Bible study we continue to look at those whom the Lord Jesus declared are washed in His blood.

Those? Did you mean to say everyone? No! The Bible doesn't teach that Jesus died for everyone nor does it teach that Jesus paid for everyone's sins.

What?!!! I thought John 3:16 said that God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son so that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

Yes, that is correct, God did say that however do you understand what God actually declared. Let's break that down.

John 3:16 (NKJV)
16 For God so loved the world (according to scripture the world is the Kosmos not just humans therefore this is saying that God loved His creation) that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him (according to the scriptures only those God draws and call will believe in Christ) should not perish but have everlasting life.

Now if Jesus paid the price for everyone's sins then why is the Lord sending innocent people to hell? Why is it necessary to punish them twice?

You see my friend, that isn't what the scriptures teach, that is what men teach.
