Switch 2 Launch RUINED By GameStop! State of Play DELIVERS!

The Switch 2 launch is off to a rough start. Sky high prices and a lack of content is resulting in an otherwise muted response. Those who did get their hands on one at a New York GameStop found out that Nintendo packaging is quite flimsy and the quality of the screen is a bit suspect. Stapling a receipt to the box not only damages the packaging, but can wreck a console if you aren't careful.

Sony also held their best State of Play in a very long time. A ton of announcements and very little nonsense. Final Fantasy Tactics got it's remake, James Bond looks like James Bond and Marvel gets the Dragon Ball FighterZ treatment.

Summer Games Fest has tough competition to send a huge week for gaming home on a high note.
