On 06-04-2025 Vessel Morning Star Caught fire. A Coast Guard C-130J Super Hercules aircrew conducts an overflight of cargo ship Morning Midas. The Coast Guard is working with Zodiac Maritime, the vessel's manager, to coordinate recovery efforts
On 06-04-2025 also Coast Guard Responds! investigation into vessel fire in Fajardo, Puerto Rico. Vessel Emilia, a 75-foot motor yacht, is caught on with five people onboard. All persons safely evacuated the vessel and were rescued by a Good Samaritan, while local firefighters successfully extinguished the fire. Coast Guard Sector San Juan marine investigators and Incident Management Division personnel are investigating and responding to the incident.
