Episode 6 — “Rapture Trumpet”

There is a trumpet unlike any other in history—at once a voice, a shout, and a shock-wave. Scripture says it is the “voice of the arch-angel and the trumpet of God” (1 Th 4 :16). When it sounds:
• graves burst open,
• the saints rise in glorified bodies,
• and an open highway appears from earth to the heavenly city.

What We’ll Explore

• The Arch-Angel’s Call
• 1 Th 4 :16–17 · 1 Cor 15 :51-52 — why Paul links the resurrection to a single, last trumpet blast.

• Jubilee Trumpet
• Lev 25 :9–10 — every 50th year a shofar released slaves, cancelled debts, and returned land.
• Shavuot marks the 50-day “mini-jubilee” after Passover; Yom Kippur of the Jubilee Year completes the cycle.
• The final trumpet is the ultimate Jubilee—liberating our bodies from death and returning creation to its true Owner.

• Trumpets that Shook History
• Mount Sinai (Ex 19 :16-19): on Shavuot the blast grew “louder and louder,” shaking the mountain.
• Jericho (Josh 6 :4-20): seven priestly shofars toppled city walls after a final, elongated note.
• These foreshadow the cosmic blast that topples every fortress of death.

• Ascending to the City Above
• Heb 12 :22-24 · Rev 4 :1 — a trumpet-voice says “Come up here,” and the scene shifts to heaven’s throne.
• The risen saints answer that call, gathering around the Lamb just as wheat is gathered at Shavuot.

Field Lesson — Living in Trumpet Time
1. Listen Daily – cultivate a heart tuned to God’s voice so you won’t mistake the final call.
2. Practice Jubilee – forgive debts, free captives, and proclaim good news; preview the kingdom’s release.
3. Carry the Shofar Echo – let your words topple walls of fear and unbelief, as Jericho’s walls once fell.
