Lopez, a decorated maintenance and logistics expert with multiple deployments and innovation awards, and McSweeney, a veteran infantryman and drill instructor who has served in every major conflict since the Gulf War and now the past 20 years served his L.A. and SanDiego communities as a distinguished police officer, recently retired, share their powerful stories of service, resilience, and continued dedication to their communities.
