welcome to album review Tuesdays here on the channel and tonight we are going very deep into the Australian underground with an absolute sick fucking piece of underground black metal flith with Entsetzlich-Curse The Abyss. Now this is a demo that was released in 2007 on the mighty Wolfsvuur Records and this is probably one of the most uncompromising raw hateful fucking black metal demos of all time man.
Azathoth is the sole creator of this insane demented black madness of mentally deranged and schizophrenic compositional pieces and I fully believe that he suffers from such mental conditions. Misanthropic isolation and hate are fully intact and this is not a demo that many people will find enjoyable or even remotely accepting of and that’s perfectly fucking fine with me….

The album opens up with a very ominously dark hideous intro that immediately sets the fucking tone for this dark journey into misanthropic mentally insane madness and it fits the mood of the album perfectly and one has to admire this kind of creative expression and everything that its comprised of… its about 1 min of desolation and blackness before the opening track

“Morke” kicks in with some of the most primitive ice cold riffing ive ever fucking heard on a demo and its so fucking chilling and raw that it gets right into your fucking psyche with no signs of light or hope whatsoever and theres a hypnotic dissonance happening for the duration and the primal drumming kicks in with some of the rawest primitive drumming ive ever fucking heard in my life…

Azathoth’s raw croaking vocals are absolutely sinister and sometimes reek of microphone hiss and distortion but hey this isn’t commercial music now is it? These charms make the album so compelling and unique. Morke is all about Azathoth’s disgust with the commercial black metal scene and it just destroys you with its vile hatred and black savagery of pure misanthropic destruction… killer opening track here guys!

It then bleeds right into the absolute schizophrenic nightmare inducing track “Curse the abyss” now this literally sounds like it was recorded in the deepest cavernous cave possible as the riffing and drum work almost sound like they were buried beneath the earth and are emitting from various holes within the soil…

This one is a suicidal despair filled trip into psychotic madness and terror.. im sure genocidal visions were close in his mind as well during this track and the icy riffs are bleeding with melancholic despair, hatred and pure fucking madness and psychosis and this is easily one of my favorite fucking tracks on the godamned album and what I really admire about Entsetzlich is his complete elitist attitude and uncompromising creed to deliver the most underground black metal possible, in the vein of bands within the LLN and that’s exactly what this reminds me of but of course he has own unique take on these concepts and creeds. This is sick vile fucking madness that only the most underground freaks like myself can appreciate… hopefully you can as well! Sick fucking track!

Next up is “House at the field” which is a cover of an obscure black metal act called “COLDHAND” and you know what? This fucking song is another desolate piece of nothingness and despair but its also remarkably scary and incredibly unsettling because its all about inhuman deeds and some pretty insane fucked up events that took place there..

its cold, isolated and absolutely hopeless sounding riffs cut through your skin and mind like a razor sharp knife stabbing at you and ripping all hope from your mind and soul… This one is easily one of the most depressing on the album but its also one of the cleaner songs on the record. It has a very unsettling cold atmosphere that helps to express all of the emotional content of the lyrics along with the strong emphasis on depravity and insanity that permeates this recording… Im not sure how many of you will appreciate art like this but this channel is devoted to reviewing some of the most underground disturbing music youll ever come across because its what I fucking love…
